Valley of the Kings
Wadi el-Muluk (Arabic), also known as Valley of the Kings, is where the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom had their tombs built.
The Valley of the Kings was a very busy place from the the Eighteenth to Twentieth Dynasties, it is commonly accepted that it was used from approximately 1539 BC to 1075 BC.
Tourism
The valley today blooms with tourism. There are many things to see here.
Graffiti on the walls of some of the tombs and attractions show that this site also was an effective tourist magnet during Roman times.

The Valley of the Kings contains some 60 tombs, from Thutmose I and to Ramesses X or XI.
