Valley of the Kings

Wadi el-Muluk (Arabic), also known as Valley of the Kings, is where the Pharaohs of the New Kingdom had their tombs built.

Tourism

The valley today blooms with tourism. There are many things to see here.

Graffiti on the walls of some of the tombs and attractions show that this site also was an effective tourist magnet during Roman times.
